Situated in the North Eastern part of Bihar, Kasba lies between 87.5' Eastern Longitude and 25.8 Degree North Latitude. Covers 0.5% (30 Sq.Kms) of the state's area. Kasba can be broadly divided into two physiographic units, the Plains and the Plateau. From Purnea it is connected by bus ( Via. national highway No.56 is about 14 Km.) & Train rout, ,The nearest railway station is Purnea (12km) & Ktihar Jn. (37Km mainly for all the major Trains,) Nearest Neighboring country is Nepal (2hr.) & Bangladesh (only 80 kms of road distance via Kishanganj)
